Not good enough
Last week I sent in 3 of my best layouts to my fav LSS apply for their design team. The announcement came out today - I didn't get picked. I'm not devestated or anything - not even worth a cry - but it's still a disappointment. I really thought I might have a chance because I like my pages, but just because I like it doesn't mean it's good enough. Anyway, here are 2 of the 3. I didn't get the third one scanned in before I submitted.

I really like both of your layouts and I am sorry to hear you weren't chosen. It is disappointing and I think it's okay to admit that. I am afraid to submit anything, so I think it is good that you made the effort. Keep trying.
Oh wow! Those are truely awesome! I am sorry that you didn't get chosen. I agree with snoopmurph, I too am afraid to submit layouts and such.

Those are awsome layouts. Sorry you didn't get picked. Do you get the layouts that you submitted back at some point?
I'd like to see the layouts of those who DID get picked! I think your layouts are beautiful. There can only be so many members of a design team, I guess. Don't even let this get you down. They probably had so many artistic submissions they finally had to toss a coin or something!
